Suzanne Wilcox

Suzanne Wilcox brings a mix of non profit and corporate experience to NetGain Partners. After graduating from Princeton University, Suzanne worked in Marketing and Development at several US arts organizations, including the American Dance Festival and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Toronto before working in research, project management, and client relations for Arts & Communications.

While at Arts & Communications, she analyzed corporate philanthropy and sponsorship programs and participated in marketing planning for a number of large corporations and government. Her work included fundraising feasibility studies for organizations such as the Canadian Parks Partnership, Canadian Film Centre and Canada's National Ballet School.

During her years at the agency, she was recruited by Air Canada where she held the title of Manager, Market Development. As the Toronto representative of Air Canada's Marketing team, her responsibilities included planning AC's part in the opening of the Air Canada Centre, executing new sponsorship programs at the Stratford and Shaw Festivals, and coordinating Air Canada 's support of the National Arts Centre Orchestra's tour of the Middle East. In 2001, when Air Canada began to spin off Aeroplan as a separate company, she shifted over to manage the frequent flyer program's relationships with financial partners, Aeroplan's largest non-airline partners. Her clients included the successful CIBC Aerogold VISA and Diners Club card programs. She also launched a new credit card for Aeroplan in the US with MBNA America.

Now a full-time mom and part-time consultant, Suzanne enjoys working with a variety of clients in the areas of Marketing, Fundraising, and Strategic Planning. She recently provided services in sponsorship sales and support at Centennial College's annual symposium of Cultural and Heritage Management.

When not working Suzanne attempst to tame her two daughters, tends the weeds in her "garden", and occasionally exercises.

Case Study

Shortly after amalgamation, the new City of Toronto engaged NetGain Partners Inc. to undertake a study of large performing arts venues and the role that local government could play in stimulating activity in the commercial theatre industry.
